I shouldn’t enjoy this book so much。 It’s eye roll inducing and absurd。 However it’s VERY fun and scratches that gross weeb itch I’ve had since Toonami wired my brain while going through puberty。 If you are a fan of this unnervingly specific genre you should 100% check it out。The author is dangerously close to crossing what I call “The Eternals Line”。 ie the line where too many characters are added that my brain switches from “fuck yea more characters” to “holy shit there are way too many of you I shouldn’t enjoy this book so much。 It’s eye roll inducing and absurd。 However it’s VERY fun and scratches that gross weeb itch I’ve had since Toonami wired my brain while going through puberty。 If you are a fan of this unnervingly specific genre you should 100% check it out。The author is dangerously close to crossing what I call “The Eternals Line”。 ie the line where too many characters are added that my brain switches from “fuck yea more characters” to “holy shit there are way too many of you bastards for me to care”。 Hopefully there is a course correction and the MC doesn’t keep collecting lovers like I collect pint glasses。 。。。more

Late for workI stayed up till 3am reading 75% before I had to put it down and finally go to sleep。 Fast paced， great characters， dialogue and action。 Looking forward to book 3。 Freaking cliffhangers are awful。 But you know what they say keep them coming back for more。

excellent I’m really enjoying this series it has a good blend of action and relationship building， a little more down time might be nice it’s starting to feel non stop fighting but in the end it doesn’t take away from the story at all
